What's your workflow?

I just started a topic on sources for digital silver prints.

While I mostly shoot film, digitize, and then print, I want to stop using inkjet printers and use digital silver prints for my B&W work.

This is a curious way to get a silver print.

I hope you are not paying extra because the service uses Fiber-based photo paper instead of RC.

I'm an analog man who does not scan. I'm a throwback who avoids digital whenever I can. Even my stereo is tubes except for the CD player. My girlfriend gave me a cell phone, but I never carry it. I'm somewhat a throwback.

Thanks for the interest in my work. At this point shooting is more important than printing. Decades ago I was a very capable printer, and I know that is not where I need the most improvement. Back in college I learned that to become a great photographer one must shoot a lot, and this has become my discipline.

Also I've restricted myself to only a few films and few developers, all B&W. Trying to become a "Master" like in the old days. Maybe one day...

Flickr and blog so to speak. No space for a good, dust controlable darkroom at this moment. Maybe rent one for a day or so when there are real prints needed.
