When does your Leica go with you?

What is it with wives? Whenever I (or we) go out, I take the M7 (now in Solms for upgrade) or the HRF. Invariably, my wife gives me a strange look, with a half smile.

OK, so I fondle these cameras now and then, but I do try to keep it to a minimum. That doesn't make me a weirdo - or does it?

Whenever I'm out specifically to take photographs, I almost always have my M6 with me (and if I'm intending to shoot w/a, my Bessa-R4A too). If I'm out and about for non-photo purposes and don't want a bag over my shoulder (or if I'm out on business and I'm toting a computer bag), I'll have my XA or XA4 in my pocket.

Since I've had rangefinder gear, it's pretty much pushed my SLR gear (mainly Olympus OM) to the back of the shelf. But the SLR gear will make a bit of a comeback later this year, as I plan to do some b&w long-lens landscape photography.

Every time I leave the house I carry a Leica. Usually the MP3 with a 50 or 35 Summicron.
