When is earliest release on 9/9?

Just got myself a place on the release here in Oslo, at 1400 on the 9th.

I suppose there also will be releases in other countries? Germany of course - perhaps at the same time?

I am already making plans on how to grab a file or two off the M9, or even have the opportunity to test my CV 15mm... Suppose that will be out of the question, but who knows?

Its getting a little ridiculous this, but on the other hand it is pure suspense and better entertainment than watching TV!
 
ICBW, but I had the impression that all the parties were scheduled at the same time, after adjustment for time zones.
 
Aha - that makes sense...

Remains to see it we can lay our hands on one! If there are production M9s going out for sale on Thursday as rumoured, there should be a few to go around at the release I hope...
 
The event is scheduled on September 9th:
9 am New York City
2 pm London
3 pm Berlin
5 pm Moskow
9 pm Beijing
10 pm Tokyo

In LA, there is event at Samy's from 10 to 18 on Sept. 9th.
and NY, at B&H...
If someone is able to be there, please provide M9 info.

Would you happen to know which Samy's in LA is having an event? I don't see anything on their website.

Well, I assume it's probably not the one that's closest to me (Culver City), else I'd drop by to check it out...

Never mind, I found it on the "retail ad"... 10am-6pm at the Fairfax store. Perhaps I'll head out there...
 
this 9-9-9 launch reminds me Apple's famous events, the hype built before those is something else. hope Leica could have even remotely as charismatic presenter as Mr. Jobs, with similar "reality distortion field" and "Stevenotes" :)

Don't worry. As excited as everybody seems to be, people will upload video feeds, write forum entries from their phones and post everything they see on Twitter. I don't think there'll be a shortage of M9 info.
 
Yesterday, I've been there and I saw a invitaion card.
I did not check samy's homepage.
