Its late and I am heading to bed. But its a great feeling when you can call it a night after some fun time alone in the darkroom. I got to do a few 11x14 prints from 6x7 negatives for the first time. Just wanted to share some pics of the room after cleanup.

And here are some pics I printed. Its different seeing the actual print on paper. :D

That's a nicely appointed bathroom darkroom you have there. You dried and scanned the prints after just having printed them? I'm impressed.

Thanks for the compliments. The pictures posted were scanned. I much prefer the wet prints.

Yes that bathroom was bare just a few weeks ago. I just built the darkroom little step at a time and I am quite happy the way it is. I use a Leica Focomat V35 for 35mm (the one in the corner) and a LPL 6700 for 6x7s (the one on a 4x4 block and tethered to wall stud). The cabinet top next to the sink has multi-function - holding a easel, setting up chemicals for developing film and drying prints. Working out good so far.

Wish I could do that. But alas, the wife would never allow it. We only have three bathrooms for the two of us you see. :D

I had to be satisfied with mine in the utility room. In fact, I had a sink put in there just for that when the house was built.

But I do like your solution. That is neat. And your are correct, time in the darkroom is always fun.

I think its worth finding a solution that works! Darkroom stuff is going for so cheap these days. Its a shame not to find some means to do it if you have always wanted to. I actually had fun planning and buying the stuff for cheap. And I do appreciate my wife's support to use the basement bathroom that hardly gets used.

Its the fun time that counts whether it is being out there taking pictures, doing the inversions on film tank or printing them when its all quiet and you smell the fixer.
