I was wondering if anybody could suggest an easy test to determine if the mirror on my CL could use replacing or resilvering. The patch is still clearly visible and the focussing accurate. However, the focussing patch stands out significantly less than on my M2 (no surprise there) or on my II (replaced by Youxin Ye- some surprise here) both of which are easier to focus in poor light. I have followed the suggestion posted on the CRR site and have noticed some black spots when I shine a light through the viewfinder, but no major loss of reflective surface. Is there anything else I can check that you know of?
I ask this as I really enjoy the CL, in particular since it got its own Luigi case which, to me, made a huge difference in handling.
