Where are all the C/V 28 3.5's

as for the cv 28/3.5...it's a gem that did not go unnoticed so when it was discontinued they were mostly bought up and hoarded by guys like me.

I had to settle for the Canon 28mm f3.5 and f2.8 ltm lenses.
Not much chance to use them yet though.

I have three, one black, one chrome and one S-mount. None for sale either. Early on I figured out that if you wanted to be sure to get a VC lens - buy it when it was announced!
The 28f3.5 is one of my all time favorite 28's (and I have plenty of other 28's). It has a quality in black/white that is unmatched, particularly considering it's size and price (when it came out).
You can stick a 21f4 and 28f3.5 in a pocket and a 35 or 50 on the R4M/A and be set for a day or weeks of shooting! Some extra film, maybe a set of spare batteries (at least with the R4A). So, they are bit slower than the much bigger alternatives - so what. Carry some high speed films or jack up the iso on that DRf.

every once in a while i consider selling mine (chrome version), as it seems not to look so different from the zm biogon (picturewise).
but then, i change my mind again and keep it.
