Sorry about the Netherlanders' grief... 🙁

Born in Guatemala (Central America), lived in the US (Illinois and Indiana), briefly residing in Spain in the 90s, back in the US since 2000.

So, I'm from Guatemala. But I can vote in the US elections! 🙂

Born in the USA (Brooklyn), I am also an Italian citizen (and can vote in Italian elections).
I checked "NorthAmerica", as my dream of moving to Italy has yet to come true (I think that only my ashes will make it there 😛 ).

I was born in Seattle. My Mother is Swiss and my Father is Syrian.
English was the third language growing up. You can tell sometimes by how I write 🙂
I've never visited Syria nor has my father been able to return since arriving here in 1961.
Damn Politics!

Independently, via both my daughter and my son I know of a couple (man and wife) who were on board flight MH17. Exactly as our prime minister mentioned, everyone in the Netherlands knows of someone killed in the crash.

Indeed. One of the physiotherapists from the practice I go to every Wednesday was lost along with her boyfriend. Tragic.

EDIT: As of 12-03-2015 I moved back to Iowa a windy tall grass prairie state again. - jim
