Where are you guys buying your film from these days?

For those of us in Canada, at least, Downtown Camera in Toronto has what I think is a good deal on Tri-X. You need to become a "member", though and that gives you a substantial discount. I hope that this deal is still on.

I was where two weeks ago. Discount on all Kodak films and darkroom products was still on. Previous winter I was getting TMAX 3200 from them and until February street photography went normal...

But DTC can't override Kodak constant price increases. Another is already set for 2021.

Orange mask just let less light on the paper. So, it is just longer exposures. And nothing else to get normal darkroom print. Contrast filters still works.

Probably what I am remembering is from printing actual color film on B&W paper. In which case, the orange mask isn't the problem, the colors are (depending on the colors in the frame). Thanks, I may try this out!
