so it's friday night, must be around 10:30 and i'm thinking that the post office has shut down deliveries for today.

yeah, that's right - the canon p is still a no show, enroute, lost in space whatever, it's not in my grubby little hands and that means that the earliest it can be here now is monday.

so no shooting with the p, no mounting that heavy 50/1.8 chrome lens and striking out into the wilderness to see what's there.

damn!

i'm not happy, i don't do well when disappointed.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

:bang: :bang: :bang:

Have you tried leaving out milk and cookies for the mailman? It works well with Santa...

You don't have mail delivered on Saturdays in Canada?

Joe, the more you want it, the longer it'll take.

Sometimes getting busy will make it come; like when you leave your table in a restaurant to go to the bathroom and right then the food arrives. Sort out your negatives, store them, classify your socks or film and, voilà, it'll be there! :D

We must be optimistic here... :)

Just think of the excitement when you open the box. It will be worth the wait.

francisco,

just how did you know that i keep my negatives in the sock drawer?
that's freaky!

thanks for the wise words guys, i'm just not old enough to have that much maturity. :)

I learned about maturity when Sammy turned 3. We are at about the same stage of development now, so I have another example of what makes the wife yell all the time. Not to mention that I now have someone to watch cartoons with.

rover, I want to join you with the cartoons! Whaddaya watch? Are you into the classics like Tom & Jerry? Loony Tunes perhaps? Or did you go with the new generation, like SpongeBob Squarepants?

Joe, hang in there... You'll scream with delight tomorrow! :)

I am a Nickelodeon man. Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron, Rugrats, SpongeBob, they all work for me. I love classic Bugs Bunny, but I can't get Sammy interested in it. Reality sets in too as a parent, Looney Toons and Disney are way to violent for children.

(We are trying to keep your mind occupied Joe.)

...as joe sits in front of his computer, now staring blankly at the screen, a pictue of a canon p staring back...

This suspense is killing me. Joe, I want you to get the camera now.

Now, my computer clock is marking 4:52 PM Central Time. I'm sure Joe is already out, shooting with his new toy. :D
