Hi Bill, I can’t help I’m afraid but I’m just wondering about the backstory? I’m supposing it’s an LTM otherwise it wouldn’t need one*.
Or are you looking for an adaptor with helicoid?
*[Edit] I’m talking rubbish here as the Kiev/Contax uses external mount.
However, I think people may be able to help more if you gave more details about the lens and what you want to use it with. There were two fundamentally different versions of this lens and many sub variants.
In my previous response I had not considered that you may be looking for an adapter with focusing helicoid - not an actual replacement ring (perhaps to replace a damaged one) on an LTM mount soviet lens. Which is how I interpreted your request.
If indeed you ARE searching for a helicoid / focusing adapter for a Contax / Kiev mount lens these are readily available on eBay. For example, this one (see link below) which I recently purchased to use with a Nikkor lens and a Jupiter 8m 50mm f2 in Kiev mount., both of which I own. Though this adapts from Contax / Kiev / Nikkor to Leica M it should be understood that it does not have rangefinder linkage - which of course means it will not focus on a Leica M camera using the rangefinder.
(Having said this, I am sure I have recently seen another similar adapter that does purport to focus accurately on Leica M cameras using the rangefinder - though I do recall that the advertisement for that item says it is only calibrated for 50mm lenses to Leica M bodies but with that limitation will work with rangefinder focusing.) This is not an issue for me as I use my helicoid adapter on a Sony mirrorless camera. I do this by "stacking" adapters - i.e. Contax RF to Leica M adapter (i.e. this adapter) on the lens plus a Leica M to Sony adapter on the camera. This method works perfectly well in this manner if that is what you wish to do.
A cheaper version of a similar adapter is also available and I did try one several years ago to use specifically with a Kiev mount Russian lens on a mirrorless body, but I have to say it was not terribly well made and I much prefer the one linked below which has very good build quality and tolerances. More expensive adapters similar to this are also available but they are considerably more expensive and I am happy with this one and see no need to spend more for the same functionality.
PS while this adapter is primarily intended for use with lenses such as the 50mm in this system- i.e. those Contax / Kiev / Nikon lenses that use inner "claws" to mount the lens it also has external "claws" and so those longer lenses (which have their own focusing helicoid - such as 85mm,105mm,135mm lenses) can also be mounted on the same adapter. This is one of the oddities of these camera mounts - shorter and longer lenses have slightly different mounts.
Lens lock / release and stop screw. - Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. - Fine finishing!
