Where can I buy film in Poland?

I forgot to buy some film before going there next week and need some film. I have also noticed that the online prices there are very different. Do they sell film at the drug store? Drug stores usually have normal prices . Either way, please let me know. Thanks 🙂

I visit Poland 3 times a year and most of the times I bring my own. But it has happened to run out of film whilst there. There are brick and mortar photography stores in every city that sell films. I haven't seen drug stores selling film but I might be wrong. Prices are comparable to UK prices (meaning it is quite expensive for locals). It depends what quantities you have in mind buying but I never had any issues sourcing one when I was there.

what you need, where are you gonna stay? I have some surplus film in my fridge. most places have prices 50-100% higher than online shops, and there are wholesalers that are even cheaper- I usually buy from foxell.pl but they don't do retail sales. your best bet is bratex.org and fotonegatyw.com, plus in the second one you can pick up film in Łódź.

I'm visiting Poland quite often but mostly just for a couple of hours and always have my own equipment. It happened however once or twice that I was staying for a couple of days and needed some supplies - my only option was online. There is no film in the drug stores - even Rossmann which sells film in Germany doesn't do that in their Polish stores. 4-5 years ago I saw film in one or two small photolabs, but once I needed to buy some in 2019 they didn't sell it any more. I think that anything vintage is not in demand in Poland and people there generally would rather cut off from the past. Film is just an example of that. On the other hand you can pay with card/phone everywhere and I hardly ever need cash there 🙂 Try that in Germany 😀
