Where Did These Leica Bags Come From?

I just impulse bought an old Leica canvas bag. It's 20-30 years old by appearance. Looks very much like the M Classic bag. The bag is beige waterproof canvas with three leather straps. It has a leather Leica logo sewn on but the quality of the bag is not Leica. I ordered a 3 compartment Domke insert for it and I'll give it a try. Were the bags some sort of give-away or promo? Fred, I looked close at the bag. The snaps are all marked "Scovill Mfg. Co.". I googled them and they're a snap manufacturer in Ct. that did a lot of military contract stuff. Were there US made Leica branded canvas bags? Stu
