I've just published a new book through Blurb - "Where I went, what I saw" - a collection of pictures taken during my travels over the past 5 years in places such as Istanbul, Cuba, Sicily, West Cork, Nicosia, Berlin and Cairo.
On the Blurb book preview page click on "FULLSCREEN" to get a larger view.

Nick: I'm speechless. What a rich, well-seen, well-executed set of pictures! It embodies so much of what I hope for in my own work: part National Geographic, part Salgado, part Cartier-Bresson. I ordered your book immediately, because I find it is tremendously helpful to have a sign post pointing the road ahead to where I hope to wind up. Congratulations, and here's to your next project.

[Edit: just looked at the Blurb page again. Let me add: part Harry Callahan. Your use of color is supurb.]

Nick is doing what we all should do - print, frame, and self publish (even if just for ourselves) our photos.
These days of "online galleries", while handy, great, and useful, lack the tactile nature that a "real" photograph has...
Good Job Nick
Nice work
Cheers,
Dave

Great work, and I agree with dcsang. We don't publish/print enough of our photos, you can't compare something on a computer screen to a nice print. I recently bought a bulk pack of 4x6 photo paper (300 sheets) and have been making a point of printing an image a day.
I rarely have anyone say "oh bring your computer so we can look at your photos" but when you have a book or even a stack of photos on the table, everyone can't resist picking them up and perusing.

Amazing piece of work Nik.
I really like the last image (piramide) A really original way to show something we all recognize in a instant.
