Where in the world are you?

looking at a map of the u.s.a., find montana and then look up.

Once you find back alley on the map, look back down to Montana and you'll find my stomping grounds.

When this post first appeared, I wanted to quote Chris Farley from Saturday Night Live -- "I live in a van down by the river."

I live just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, USA. I'm originally from Spokane, Washington.

I live in San Francisco now, but lived for a long time in Philadelphia (long enough that I am kind of homesick for it) and am originally from Northern Virginia (Fairfax County, which the rest of Virginia likes to pretend is not a part of Virginia, to which I say fine, buy your own street signs then -- but I digress).

One of my Border Collies is originally from somewhere called Rhydd Mawr, Penisarwaen, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, which I am given to understand is in Wales. After that, she lived in North Yorkshire for a while before I purchased her sight unseen as a trained sheepdog. I only mention this because of the previous discussion of Wales. My other Border Collie is from central Pennsylvania. Here they are in our newest stomping grounds, posing in front of a major local landmark.
