where is classifieds

I posted a wanted to buy ad yesterday and said in the ad I could not find the classifieds. Then I was told the thread was deleted because it was not in the classifieds and to repost there. If I cannot find the classifieds, how am I expected to post there?
Where is the classifieds?

look up...there is a blue line of headings...click on the classifeds...then click on want to buy...

I think the problem is that people don't realise you have to scroll down to the WTB section and click on that ... it (WTB) doesn't appear to be in the initial drop down menu?

Yep, to post a WTB ad, you have to scroll to under the featured adds to Want to Buy. Then click the link and then add your listing by clicking, Place an Ad which is the last link in the Classifieds navigation bar.

I don't have a blue line of headings, I have a white line and it reads left to right:
Home, Forums, User CP, FAQ, Member List, Calender, New Posts, Search, Quick Links, Log Out. This is followed by the various forums seperated by orange bars.
This is is the page linked in my favorites bar and the page I log into.

On the active threads page, scroll down just passed the latest member ads.
The left column has a small group starting with "DIY" 6 or 7 below that.

Do we still have differencies in menues and headlines between the different display layouts? Since years I use "VBP Hex Cell Xpand" (see choices bottom right) and I maybe used missing some standard links from other layouts. But: why?

Nope, but if you start on the HOME page and scroll down in the left column, it's just above "cool links" near the bottom of the page.
