You know what ...some people exchange their labour for dollars, pesos, euros punts...etc, but knowing where you work currently, I think you've hit on the novel concept of being paid directly in Rangefinders.....😉

I did that a number of years ago and ended up owning 7 minolta SLRs......! Ever tried to get change for a litre of milk out of a minolta 8000i?

Hi guys!

I'm here - alive (just barely) and well...
No photography for me at this time - I'm in the middle of a large translation project, which is wearing me out...
About a month ago I drove the wife and kids to the seaside, stayed with them for about a week (no Internet access), and then headed back home - to work 🙁
Shot about three color rolls of MF with the Rollefilex - of all things!
Funny, of all Leicas, Zorkis, etc. that I have, after two days' pondering, I decided to take just the Rollie 🙂
Unfortunately, the Series V polarizer turns out to vignette on the Rollie 🙁
So, all the fabulous seaside shots are vignetted. Some terrific colors, though...
I don't have time for scanning, will probably post a shot or two (in about two weeks, I guess) 🙁

I'll be going back southside to pick up the family next week, I guess - will stay about 3-4 days, and maybe this time I'll take one of the Leicas.

Anyway, I'm up to my ears in work - bloody mobile phones! This is the third summer that I have to stay home and work while the family is on vacation......

I've been checking out things now and then here on RFF, but just briefly. No new photos, no new scans, just work and more work.

I need a rest....

The good news is that I have about a dozen B&W rolls to develop and hopefully scan some of those.If there are any shots worth showing, you'll be the first to see those 🙂

And a PS, just to make it clear: no, I haven't bought anything new...

I'm still waiting for the Speed Graphic 4x5, though... And I did buy something, now that we're at it - a tank for developing 4x5 film, and some extra 4x5 film holders... 😉
