Where is the digital Voigtlander RF?

personally i dont think it's necessarily stornger - it's just less hollow. it feels just like a thick with a bit of a weight problem - but the construction feels very much the same. it feel far more like the r2 (or any bessa) than it does a m6 (to me anyway)

Alright, Stewart, you are awesome, now we have a drawing.
Although I would like it to be less square. Square cameras are usually not pretty or sleek.

And second vote for small monochrome LCD as opposed to dials.

Vince, you got one very good point about the adjustable rangefindler. I'll add it to the requirement list:

Come up with a digital RF:

MODEL A:

- Utilizes the largest sensor that would eliminate crop-factor, so the lenses stays what they are
- 10 Mega pixels minimum image resolution
- Is compatible with the current lenses (do not come up with another incompatible lens mount)
- Has No LCD on the back (how's that for bucking the trend :) ), just indicators that the image has been saved onto the memory card. This achieves three things: 1) it will keep the camera discreet, 2) it will encourage film-like shooting discipline, 3) it will help keep the cost of the camera down, 4) it will prolong battery life
- Has zero or near-zero shutter lag
- Keep it at about 1000 USD body only
- RAW only, no in camera post-processing
- User adjustable Rangefinder alignment
- Has a small monochrome display for battery indicator, memory full, ISO, white-balance, etc.
- Has old-skool exposure compensation dial (Paul T.'s idea)

MODEL B:
- comes with a flip/clip LCD that can be turned off completely.

at this rate we'll come up with a proposal in a month  anybody knows powers that be in a camera factory?
