Where should i service my Pentax? (UK only)

Hi guys,

I think that my Pentax MX is in need of a good CLA. Sticky mirrors (not related to mirror damp foam though) and erratic lightmeter are its major symptoms.

Are there any reputable repairman based in UK that i could contact? Which one have you used and what is your experience with them?

Never used them but Newton and Ellis in Liverpool are supposed to be good.

I have had 2 LX Bodies and a KX Body (film) CLA'd by Robin at Harrow Technical, he is an ex Pentax Technician and he has all the spares and know how to do the very best job.

I have taken 4 Pentaxes (one MX, 2 ME Supers and an MG) to Harrow Technical, and thoroughly recommend the experience.

I have never used Newton Ellis for a CLA, but have used them to repair a Rollei 35, a Voigtlander Vito II, a Braun Paxette and an Ikonta 521, and I have been immensely satisfied.
