I will be traveling to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Which city do think is best to buy 120 color film? In terms of availability and price? Any specific places you can recommend?
Cheers!
Ben

In Singapore, you have Ruby Photo, Konota. Both are a stones throw from City Hall MRT (train station). Prices for Kodak's Portra start from about S$12/roll (120mm) if I am not wrong. We mainly have Portra, Ektar & Fuji Pro 160/400H. Slides available, but pricey.

We don't have many shops to begin with and most of us patronise the same shop :)

Bangkok has a pretty good selection of 120 film. I'm going to be dropping off some film at the lab soon so I'll check on the prices and post them here.

Cheers,
Michael

Photogallery in Bangkok always has good stock, and are nice guys.
I think FP4/HP5 120 was 180 baht per roll when i was there a few weeks ago.

This is off topic, but since you guys are in Bangkok, do you happen to know anyone with a Mamiya 6 that would be willing to let me shoot with it? Or possibly another 6x6 camera?

Sadly I'm not in Bangkok, I currently live in Hanoi, i was just in Bangkok for a long weekend.
I actually sold my 2 Mamiya 6s in January, but I do have a Voigtlander Bessa 667w if you end up in Hanoi.

Photogallery may be able to help you, there is also a shop in MBK shopping mall that sometimes has Medium format gear.

Theres a very good blog post about film photography in Bangkok/Thailand by someone who is either an RFF or APUG member, but I can't remember who it was at the moment.
