Where to buy Epson V700 in the UK (to Finland)

I'm thinking about gettin a V700 for 4x5 and better 120 scans. I'm thinking maybe some UK shop that ships internationally would be a considerable option because the pound is cheap compared to euro.

Could you suggest me good web shops from the UK that sell V700 for OK price and that are trustworthy?

You could go to www.epson.com, click through to the Finnish (is that right?) web site, then click on the link to the epson store. I tried it, and was able to find the V700, even though I didn't understand the site.
 
That localised Epson site will be priced in euros for the scanner market in Finland. The O.P. is trying to take advantage of the recent exchange rate fluctuations to get a bargain. The pound has gone down significantly recently, compared to the euro, though how long that lasts who knows. I am english, but live in Holland so can't help with direct experience.

Looking on www.amazon.co.uk might find a UK stockist ?
 
Yep. In Finland it seems the prices start from 518 euros (the cheapest price I found after quick search) which would also need shipping costs to be added because it is not local. Local shops price is 580...
In the UK I found some shops selling V700 for 351, which is around 370 euros (of course shipping will increase the cost to probably 400). I would say the difference is big enough to seriously consider buying from the UK.

I guess I should check Amazon too. Dont know at all, if those Ebay-links are trustworthy, so I was thinking maybe some RFF users could point out some trusted sellers...

I know from book-buying that there are a lot of stockists advertising on Amazon who have separate webshops and a bit of buyer history - that is rather different to electronic goods I suppose.

I was recently just North of Rovaniemi for a couple of weeks. Just in time to see the first snow (and see it melt again). I am trying to figure out a way of economically getting to Lapland for some months next Spring, or for a year perhaps. Your country is extremely recommended by me as a good place to go ! (There, that has ruined it now - you will be flooded with visitors. Sorry about that.)

And I have been making Karjalanpiirakat since I got back, with munavoi, delicious.
 
M2user: Thanks! Actually I have been browsing ffordes a couple days, but somehow I missed the "NEW" section! Why didn't I realize that..?
£399 shouldn't be too bad, because ffordes really seems like a good place to buy (I read some photo.net and other positive stuff about them).

MartinP: Hehe! 🙂. I remember reading somewhere on RFF that you know a bit finnish! I think Lapland has aready quite a lot tourism. From what I've heard, japanese like to travel there quite a lot. Theres Santa's home anyway ;-). Karjalanpiirakat + munavoi = great, though I dont eat it too often. You should try "mustamakkara" (with lingonberry), it is one thing Tampere, my hometown in middle-southern Finland, is famous of.
