Where to buy focus ring rubber?

I would be interested in this also. Many newer lenses have a ring of diamond patterened rubber that is used for focusing, and can sometimes be damaged or lost, leaving only a cold metal slot where it once was. If one could purchase a sheet of this material it would be a simple matter to cut a strip to size and glue it on. I am surprised no-one has addressed this issue.

Yes, more or less...for Leica and similar lenses. Lutz Konermann sells them:

Leather is nice. The STEER looks good too. But I really want to find a source for the rubber. Anyone???

Other lenses. Especially no-name ones. Hard to match the patterns on the rubber, however.
