Hi all,
I'm a bit desperate for a Summilux M 1.4/50 in good condition for below 1000 Euros. Since I just missed one (5th version) at a local dealer rated EXC for 899,- I know that such a low price is possible. Maybe someone here has a hint for me or even one for sale.

A shop here in Bergen has a 1st gen user 'lux for (if I recall correctly) about $450. The barrel shows heavy use, but glass is in good condition. I made a shot or two through it, the negs are fine.
Not sure if they sell stuff by post however..

Hello, I may have a 50mm Summilux E43 version (serial number 2 million something) with perfect glass and mechanics for sale. I'm located in Denmark.
Quite frankly I don't know what to do: I recently bought a 50mm "dual-range" summicron, and the first two rolls from it just made me fall in love with it (it TRULY IS a Bokeh machine). But I love the Summilux as well. I need to think about this for a while. Surprisingly, the DR summicron and the Summilux E43 are about the same size/weight!
I'm off on a trip for 10 days, but if you're interested, send me a Private Message, and I'll reply when I get back. Maybe that's too long for you to wait...

Thanks a lot for all the input. The dutch store certainly has some great prices, but in the end I found a nice Cron nearby my home to make me happy. It's one stop off my original plans to get the Lux, but I'm sure it will do fine (especially when it comes to the point where I have to explain myself to my wife).
