Feathers McGraw
Newbie
I have a really nice, clean Canonet that I have really enjoyed learning to shoot with. It is, in fact, my first real camera. Unfortunately, on a recent trip to the North Georgia mountains, I managed to drop it on asphalt.
It's a tough little camera; you'd really have to look to find the slight discoloration on the upper right rear corner where it hit. But functionally it hasn't faired so well. It no longer stops advancing film after the first four strokes when loading film, and will continue to advance the film regardless of whether or not the shutter has been released.
I'm really happy with this camera, and hope to return to as good a condition as possible. I wonder if anyone can recommend a good technician to repair and CLA it. I'm hoping to find someone local the Roswell, GA area if possible.
Thanks for any advice!
