Where to repair a M7?

My second M7's shutter came jammed last month, probably caused by a piece of chipped film. The curtain is now a little deformed, I suspect it will need to be replaced.

I understand that none of the old names (Sherry, Don, Youxin, etc.) would take the M7, even the problem is not electronic. For me anyone in the Asia-Pacific will do so I tried Kanto in Japan, which I had good experience with, and was told they keep no parts for the M7.

Is it truly my only option that I have to send it to Leica to shed out $500+ for a curtain alone?

You should contact Youxin or the old masters anyway, esp. if issue is not electronic. Worse case they send it back to you.
