I'm a fan of that corduroy sort of style camera cover some manufacturers used. This is the stuff I mean:
I quite fancy re-skinning a camera or two with this stuff but a) I wouldn't even know what to call it and b) I have no idea where sells it, if anywhere.
Anyone ever seen this stuff for sale anywhere?

I've heard people calling it leatherette, or artificial leather. Here in Serbia it is available in any hobby shop, or as always you can find some on ebay.

I would try these two first. I was never let down by either

ujkozavlanje, I know the general term for the covering is leatherette, I was asking about this particular pattern.
fbf, went to those suppliers first, nothing there.
splitimageview, sent Hugo an email, cheers.
monopix, yep, looks about as close as I'm likely to get, thanks!

Finetta covering is similar to Pentacon/Pentina/Pentaflex covering.

If you need to source it off beater cameras, older Agfa folder cameras have it too if I'm not mistaking.
Ask on the Vintage Camera Collectors Group or Vintage Camera Repair Group on FB if anyone has a doorstop specimen they'd be willing to part with.
