I'm sure that it's quicker to focus than the Konica because of the higher magnification than the Hexar RF. I don't know why it would be easier than the M7 unless you have the .58 version, but I've been screaming that the rangefinder design is the best thing about this camera. It's different than the design used on the M7 or any previous Leica except for the M3. Not a copy of the M3 design, but similar. It forces you to get your eye centered, which makes for more accurate focusing, it's brighter, & it has that nice effective base length. Put them all together & it makes for a very precise focusing instrument.
