Hi all,

Which 35mm slide film works best at ISO 320 or 250?

I was thinking Provia 400x as I have seen some good results rated at 800 and 1600, so I'm assuming it is quite a versatile film.

Would Provia 400x be a better option than Astia or Provia 100 for this purpose?

I do like Sensia but Provia and Astia are more capable of larger prints IMO.

Any general exposure issues I need to be wary of when rating slide film at different ISOs?

Thanks.

Why do you need to shoot at 250 or 320 instead of 400?

I wish to shoot at f8-f11 at around 1/750 in order to capture movement and everything in focus. This is hard to do with an M7, with 1/1000th sec. as the fastest shutter speed.

With the lighting conditions I'm dealing with on the street, 200 seems to be the optimal ISO to get this balance right. Hence, my thought of possibly pushing Provia 100 or Astia one stop or pulling Provia 400x one stop.
