I'm asking for a friend. This question is mostly geared towards Japanese MF SLR's; that is, non-P6 mount cameras.

I believe that the Mamiya 645 1000s and all Pentax 645's work all of the P6 lenses, right? Any recommended adapters? I'm in particularly interested in mounting the 80mm Biometar and 180mm Sonnar.

Any other medium format cameras work without some serious hack?

All FP shutter 6x45es should work - but the two seem to be the only ones with ready made adapters. You'd probably have to pay more than the price of a entire Mamiya or Pentax kit to have a Contax 645 adapter made (and the other two, Bronica ETRS and Hasselblad H, are leaf shutter).

The register depth won't permit adapting it to any 6x6 or bigger SLR - but there are some guys in the Ukraine rebuilding P6 and Kiev lenses into other system mounts.

P6 -camera family from Dresden
the better "rebuilt": Kiev 60
the western brother :Exakta 66
and the Kiev 88 cameras after 1999 have an original P6-bayonet.

I know adaptions to Mamiya 645, Pentax 645, Contax 645. They are easy and cheap (adapter about 30-50€) , but there are also "remounted" lenses for Hassy F (2.8/180mm).

If you just want to use your P6 lenses on a MF camera: take one of the 645 series (Mamiya, Pentax, Contax).
Personally I [re]use my 50mm Flektogon, 80mm Biometar and a 180mm Sonnar on a Pentax 645 N - it works well (the only Pentax lens I have is the 35mm)
If want to buy a Contax 645 take also a battery grip - you can use normal R6 batteries. The Contax 645 is a battery guzzler.
