Which Digital Cameras have the best Dynamic Range?

That dxo-mark site is a load of rubbish - half the results on there don't mirror real life situations.

Seriously, get any one of the full frame DSLRs and enjoy digital photography how it was intended.

Get a full frame DSLR just as was said above. Even better, a medium format. As I moved from a P&S to D700 Nikon, the DR improved at every step of the way.

You can do way better with HDR and film ever could and if you do it properly, it need not look like a cartoon. In fact I do not even use HDR most of the time, I use layers and layer masks.

Excellent ... now all I need is to come up with the $8000.00! 😀

Despite the camera's other limitations, the dynamic range in the S5Pro continues to amaze me and easily holds its own against the current crop of cameras. The price on these cameras are relatively cheap when you can find them. I find the dynamic range testing at DPReview to be much more informative than the DxO site. They also show you the amount of headroom available in both the jpeg and raw files.
