don't plan on using a rangefinder for headshots. use an slr instead, preferably medium format. rangefinders are great for environmental portraits, though. anything from 28mm to 50mm is good. it's just a matter of personal taste and budget.

35mm and 50mm lenses are my fave for portraits. I don't get along with longer lenses, takes the people out of their environment and makes it boring and cliche. imo.
