Which hood for 35/2 Summicron ver 3?

It should be OK. Stephen Gandy lists the 3rd version as E39 (http://www.cameraquest.com/mlenses.htm), and Bower's Leica Lens Book lists it as E39/S7.
I use that same hood on an Elmar 50/2.8 - it works well.

Sacrilege.....get yourself an IROOA for a retro look, or a 12585 (both fit E39 35 and 50mm's), or a 12504 (35mm only). You wouldn't put cheap aftermarket Chinese stuff on your Porsche, would you?
I have one of those for my 135mm Elmar.....yup, they work fine (although the threading can be stiff and tough to start, especially when new.) Clamp-on beats screw-on hands down...

this one is not for the summicron....1,4 is lux 🙂 You can't use this or the R one
