Hi, i would say buy yourself an m5, recently i´m a big fan of that camera. It´s terrific performer and an m in it´s own unique right.
If uncoupled you can´t miss chosing an m4 (chrome one), about the meter i coming back to an mc meter, in the past i hated this leica meters but now i´m finding them very nice, you can couple it to the speeds dial and also you can choose taking it off.
There are some leica meters with battery but my current copy of the seleium meter is flawless and when accurate i prefer selenium meters because they are always on you don´t have to worry about switching it or about batteries.
