Which lens kit for CLE?

Im rearranging my CLE kit and just like to hear peoples thoughts between the two lens lineups im thinking about.

1/ VM 21mm f4, Leica 28mm f2.8 ASPH, Leica 40mm F2, Leica 90mm F4 Macro M, Leica 135mm f4 Tele-Elmar

Has advantage of being more compact and all 39mm filters.

2/ Leica 21mm f2.8 E60, Leica 28mm f2.8 v3, Leica 40mm f2, Leica 90mm f2.8 compact TE, Leica 135mm f4 Tele-Elmar

Has advantage with some lenses a bit faster and similar Era designs so should have a more even character through the kits range (but thats just a guess)

I seem to sway one way one day then the other the next its making my head spin so thought it may be helpful to hear others opinions in friendly discussion, thanks

I like the rokkor 40 and the summilux 28 asph...seldom, though sometimes the elmarit-m 90. 90% of the time, my CLE wears its 40. I've found when I don't have a lens choice I don't need it.

On the CLE I stick with a 28/40/90 lineup, and the 90 gets only about 5% use. The 28 and 40 split equally. 25 does work using the full viewing window to frame. Can't remember what lines it brings up. For other focal lengths, there's an M4P.

For me, adding finders and filing frameline indicators just complicates simple cameras.

Agree with Joe. To me, the joy of using this camera is portabilty and the nice viewfinder and framelines. With the short effective base length, its challenging to focus anything faster than f4 at 90mm. I could not imagine getting good focus at 135mm. Go with 28, 40 and 90. The Rokkor 40 is superb. The CV 28 3.5 is a great performer and small, makes a very portable set up.
