Which lens to order?

I now have my Leica letter giving me 30% a new Leica lens. Which one should I order?

I already have the 21, 34,35,50,90 and Zeiss 15.

You really seem to have most of your bases covered and then some. I'm not sure what you can squeeze in unless you really need to burn the coupon - maybe the new 28 or the Tri. Seems like overkill, though.

Why not go for the one you don't have, the APO-TELYT-M 135mm f3.4 ASPH.

I really dont want to buy another lens. but the new Noctilux is now prices at 5500.00 and my cost with the discount is 2700.00

hell, if you got z funds, get the nocti.......I used (borrowed) it for some pics at a poetry slam in a dark coffee house, cool effects

I would advise the 75/2. It is probably the best lens that Leica makes for the M series, and on the M8 it is a 100mm, which is close to the 90s you seem to prefer.

I had the 75 and was not that pleased with it. I may end up with the Noctilux due to it's recent price increase. It may be a good investment.

Hi Jorge,

as you have just recently stuffed a real heavy weight in your bag why overload with the Nocti? SInce you seem to favor the shorter FL anyway the new wide angle tri Elmar might be nice. If the 30% discount applies to the set of lens and the (bulky) finder there's also some nice savimgs. But if you never had a Nocti the cravings won't be over until .....😀.

Something just occured to me - could it be that Leica increased the Noctilux price because they realized that many M8 users would jump at the opportunity to finally get one with the discount coupon they got?

Jorge might be the perfect example how many users will react - and Leica countered with a huge price increase?!

Now that would be a brilliant business move - albeit at the heavy cost of their loyal users!😡

If you are the only one who can use it have the contest and whoever wins and figures out what they want can send you the money then you help them get the lens.

Even if you have a coupon you don't HAVE TO buy a new lens and based on your M-setup you definitely don't need anymore lenses either.
