I researched the same question over the past 8 weeks as I debated getting the M8.
Being new to RF photography I reviewed multiple RF fora, many of which had extensive threads discussing this very question.
First consider the type of photography you do now and what lens (FOV) you shoot most frequently.
Then, taking into account the crop factor of 1.33 for the M8 sensor, which lens gets you to your desired effective FOV?
With the above in mind, I considered purchasing the following lens:
cron 50 mm 1.4
cron 35 mm 1.4
cron 28 mm 2.0
For my needs the 28/2.0 fit best, it's effective FOV is 34 mm and it's very sharp wide open.
I'll probably add the 50/1.4 later and may consider something a little wider further down the line.
