Which Lines.....

Today I was in a store and ran a crossed a Canon 85/2 screw mount lens. It was pristine and butter smooth. As such it came home with me. Now the question is... which frame lines on my .58 M6TTL camera... 75 or 90? I keep hearing that the framelines are noticibly tighter than the focal lengths need so... thoughts?

I'd go for the 90 frames.

Most framelines are just rough estimates of the area covered by the picture, some vary by as much as 20%. Shutterbug had a small sidebar on this with their review of the Zeiss Ikon RF a few months back.

I shoot with a Rokor CL 40mm lens on my M7. I have found that the inside lines on the 35mm frame are almost exactly the same area covered by the 40mm lens. It is such a close match that I have drppped my plans to buy a 35mm lens. So, based on my experience I would think that you will be very happy with the 90mm frame lines.
