I'm looking to put grips on my M6 and M6TTL.
Abrahamsson, Photo Equipment Corp., or Leica's own variety ?
Opinions based on actual usage ?
Thanks, as always.

I have the Abrahamsson and the Photo Equp. I prefer the Abrahamsson hands down.
Find the bigger grip more cumfortable in use. (+I can use it with the Rapidwinder!)

i use the photequip grip on both my canon p's.
not sure how that might translate to an m camera.
however, they fit perfectly to both the camera and my right hand. (i have small hands)
coupled with a wrist strap and i have a very secure and comfortable shooter for hours at a time.

I have the Leica Handgrip M 1440 and prefer the smaller size. But I've had it on my M2 only a short time... So far I like it, and its central tripod fitting.
I have an Abrahamsson.
Very nicely made, a little heavy, but gets the job done well.

I've got the Leica version on my M6, and it is really nice, especially if you use heavier lenses (Noctilux, AA Summicon 90, etc). I actually got mine as a gift, and I thought I wouldn't like the invreas in the size of the camera body, but I really like it now. I'd reccommend it, but then I have never tried any of the other grips you mentioned.

My advice would be to try the different grip options. Everyones hands are different so what fits one hand may not fit well in another.
I tried a Leica grip and did not get on with it, the strap lug didn't fit well in my hand and found it an annoyance. Also my shutter finger felt uncomfortable. I'm used to shutter releases on the top of grips from SLR use.
Try before you buy.
