I'm looking around for my next russian camera.
I love my Kiev 4A, specially with his Jupiter3 on, but you know that it's easy to became sick about russian rangefinders ;)

I'm a little puzzled about FED (which FED?), Kiev (which other?), Zorki (?) and so on.

I think they are not all well-made cameras, and I ask you for suggestion to begin increasing my collection.
By the way, I'm not a real collector: I love to take pics!

Thanks!

P.S. I'm not so accustomed to using web-based forums, (I'm an usenet user) and I haven't understand so well how to reply to a post. The REPLY button I can see at top on the right seems to open a reply but I can't see wich post I'm replying to.
???

It's impossible to live with only one

Suggestions ? Fed 2, Kiev II, Zorki 3M :)

These are my choices but be sure you'll receive a lot more opinions and best thing is they all will be great cameras !

Btw, by replying your message will automatically be the last one (there's no tree hierarchy), but if you want to reply to a specific post, you may use then the 'quote' button.

IMO the nicer of the Soviet cameras are (in no order btw) ..

Zorki 1, Zorki 3M, Zorki 5 & Zorki 6 - FED 2 & FED3

Have a look thru this site, his section on "Favorite Shooters" hits the mark for me.
