Which out of production film would you like to have again?

Konica Impressa 50
Bingo. Just fast enough to be mostly usable (rate it at EI 32 for best results), but crazy-grainless. Not the easiest film to shoot (almost as many people have sworn at it as have sworn by it). Have one roll left. I feel a little like Roland, the Last Gunslinger from The Dark Tower (not a big Stephen King fan by any measure, but that first book was cracking fun). What to do with that last magic bullet?

I'll take Kodak Panatomic-X and, by the way, the Panatomic-X I used to use had an ASA of 32 (not 25). I shot a lot of it back in the 80's and loved the results, some of which can be seen at my gallery at Nikonions:

Panatomic-X was originally a film used for aerial photography due to it's great resolution and, because of that, it was ideally suited to the 35mm format because it blew up so well.

Anything 25 speed, like much of the other replies: Kodachrome 25, APX 25, Tech-Pan. And the old Tri-X.
Something like ADOX CHS 25...?

The CHS 25 is the finest grain emulsion with classic low-sensitivity characteristics: the film is very sensitive to over-exposure but exhibits a greater tolerance under-exposure.

Don't despair. All you 25 BW lovers can use Adox CHS25, the Technical Pan lovers and resolution addicts could switch to using microfilm, such as Agfa Copex or Kodak Imagelink processed in Spur Nanospeed or Imagespeed. (20 ASA at 800 lines per millimeter, now isn't that something? Here's a link to a German statement by Zeiss who tested Spur Orthopan UR microfilm and Nanospeed UR developer with their Biogon 25/2.8 lens and found that the film could resolve more than the theoretical diffraction limit of the lens at f/4.)

Kodachrome-X. For those not old enough to remember, it was ASA 64. I liked the color better than Kodachrome 64.

And I would like Kodachrome 25 back, please.

Hate to break this to you Barrett, but that roll looks like it's been shot already😉

I'll also say Agfa RSX- both the 50 and the 200. Love those for shooting in the woods- handles that green light so well. I've got 2 rolls of each left.

Nah...the film leader's there. just curled tight around the cassette. 🙂

And I did shoot a few rolls of RSX 50, shortly before it disappeared. Great stuff.
