Which price for a 2/35 last non-ASPH. summicron?

Does anyone use anything other than the rectangular hood for their 35/2 ??. As I've mentioned before the hood annoys me a bit because the lugs get in the way of my fingers when changing aperture. I can't find a rectangular cap for the hood either.

Is there a decent 39mm thread round hood available with a cap ??. I don't mind if it hasn't got Leica stamped on it.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy a vented 39mm Heavystar hood off ebay. It is a screw in but will work on the 35 crons. I bought mine with a snap in 55mm cap, very convenient.
