Hi, i'm sure, this question has been asked before... I'm using an epson r2400 printer for about a year now and i'm really satisfied with the results it produces on matte paper. For some months now i try to get into printing on baryt paper but never found out the ideal settings for it ...

B/W works better - but colour prints just don't look natural.

Which paper settings, cartiage (matte/photo), ... do you guys use?

Thanks i.a.

Chris, you should use the Epson Glossy or Semigloss setting - I have settled on the Glossy one, AND download the profile from the vendor's site - I imagine you are using Gallerie Gold Fiber Silk, or Hahnemuehle or Harman - you will find the profiles on their internet support pages. BTW, for B&W I use the advanced B&W printing with some minor adjustment in brightness and with various toning settings, according to the desired output. Read the Clayton Jones pages on B&W printing with Epson R2400.
