Hello folks,

The question's in the title. I know that the Ricoh 500G and GX do this, but are there others - either with fixed or interchangeable lenses?

Best regards,

RoyM

Contax G 1 and G 2 do. I would think that every RF with a built in lightmeter would.

Am I wrong? Why this question then?

Maybe it's my mistake? I undertood that cameras such as the Olympus RC and the Canon Q17 GIII could be operated in manual mode, but that their meters did not reflect the manual settings...

You are right about 35RC and that Canon.
Look at Ricoh 500G/GX/ME - it has metered manual mode. <-- ooops, you already know tgis series.

The compact Canonet QL17 models will not Meter in manual mode. It turns off power when on manual.

Add the Konica S2 to the list. Of course, the Yashica Lynx series is manual only. The advantage of the Lynx is the short throw of the shutter release as there is no trap needle system used on automatic cameras.

The Kodak Retina Auto III also meters on manual.

...and it makes Lynx whole different experience. Release isn't only short, it's also butter smooth. If Konica Auto S2 would not have AE (and thus longish and stiffy release), it would be my favourite camera.

Burstein-Applebee BA "AUTO" EE-1 meters in manual. It was apparently made by Taron for the Burstein-Applebee electronics catalog. If you set the aperature, you can turn the shutter speed until the meter number in the viewfinder matches what you had set. So in manual, it is aperature priority, but in auto, it is shutter prority.

Minolta HiMatic 7s (and possibly other HiMatic models)

Sorry, I misunderstood your question, I think. In manual mode the HiMatic 7s meter will indicate the EV you need to dial in on the aperture/shutter, but does NOT let you know when you have proper exposure dialed-in.
