Which sling strap

I'm currently looking for a sling type camera strap that I can use with my Fuji X-E1 and Leica M3. The three options that I'm currently looking at are the Gordy sling strap, black rapid straps and Op Tech sling straps. Do any of you have experiences with these? If there are also other options that you guys can suggest I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

the round straps act like sling straps...they glide so easily...I use the lance straps with the clip ends so I can change them easily.

I have used the basic optech straps for years, great for heavier gear as the neoprene absorbs shock. I have no issues with my D200 and a long lens while walking for extended periods. I have not used anything other than an optech strap in so long I can't really comment on anything else.

Late on this thread, I know. But I just got my Lance straps in (neck and wrist). The neck strap works great as a sling because, as back alley mentioned, the roundness glides very easily.

I've had Gordy's neck and wrist straps. Even after breaking them in I find them uncomfortable. Personal preference. Built great and quality leather, just not comfortable (to me).

I used the black rapid straps with SLRs for a while. The tripod attachment has a mildly annoying habit of slowing working itself loose and spilling your camera to the ground. It happened to me twice, the first time the camera landed on the attached flash and the second time I was amazingly quick and caught it before it hit the ground. If you like this sort of thing then by all means go for the black rapid.

I've got a Lance strap as well, and absolutely love it. Very comfortable, well made, and works wonderfully as a sling. Best strap I've ever used.

How do you plan to hang your M3? A single strap lug isn't guaranteed to be secure, and I've found that the leather strap on Gordy's screw connector gets in the way of one's right hand due to the Leica's offset tripod socket.

A used Luma Loop. The original was killed off by legal threats from Black Rapid. I bought mine from Rogier / RFF and love it for my XE1 and GXR/M. I can sling one bandolier style and keep it protected by a raincoat or overcoat, but it slides out & up easily.

Luma is bringing out a new Cinch, not as cool (to me) as the Loop, but able to use the tripod bushing in a similar way. They also say they're working on a small-systems-dedicated cinch, but there are no images or videos of it yet.

I have a Luma Cinch v1, which is a top-quality product. However, I found out that I don't like straps that mount to the camera's tripod socket, because when you take off the camera, you can only set it down lying on its back with the lens pointing up. Annoying to me.

What I would really like is a plain strap of 1" nylon webbing, with no pad or grip material, no buckle hardware, that's long enough to wear cross-body.
