Canon LTM who can you trust for a good CLA in new york city?

hi again.
i want to take in my 7sz for new seals and a CLA. i'm boycotting phototech because i've had negative experiences there. any recommendations for the nyc area?

How far away is Essex Camera? Will Youxin Ye work on a Canon 7? He would be my first choice if he does. Youxin is in Boston.

Where's Barrett? He may have an idea.

i'm in brooklyn. essex is in jersey. on a map it doesn't look far. it's not. but in new york city, distance is measured in time, not miles or kilometers. it takes hours to go five miles and back!

There he goes, bringing up my name again...! ;)

Anyway: the last placed I went to was actually in Manhattan: Nippon Camera Repair (212-982-3177/920 Broadway, #705). I've used them for years. Can't guarantee they'll handle Canon 7's, but I'd be surprised if they can't do anything for you.

(As far as travel time in New York City is concerned, I think Einstein's Space-Time theory is exempt within city limits.)

did some research and found nippon. they sounded a little hesitant on the phone, but encouraged me to come by. will be going there on monday. will tell you how i fare. thanks, guys.
 
I've used Nippon in the past. I was pretty satisfied with the work they did. This included a major repair on my m6.

actually, i think einstein's theory is EXEMPLIFIED by life in new york, where the passage of time is relative to how fast you are traveling. i actually believe that i am several minutes younger (but angrier) than someone else who has traveled the same distance in a different city... something to do with time dilation.
