To bad I am broke right now... There is a complete Graflex KS6 kit for sale (Buy it now) on eBay. The kit comprises the KE4 camera, all three lenses (f/4.5 2 1/2"/63.8mm wide angle, f/2.8 4"/102mm normal and f/4 8"/205mm tele), flash, sport finder and a few more items in the original case. Seems a good deal for one of those awesome rangefinder cameras from the 50s -- they have been designed by Hubert Nerwin, the creator of the Contax. The quality of the Ektar lenses is also legendary.

This camera takes 70x56mm pictures on 70mm film (it uses the same film cassettes as the 70mm Hasselblad backs). It is equipped with a clockwork spring motordrive and the body is made of cast magnesium. The rangefinder has 4.5in./115mm base. I told you, a dream camera...

I hope it will go to someone who will actually use it!

Cheers,

Abbazz

I've dreamt of that one, but it isn't a good time for me either (while I'm expecting a large repair bill for some work I'm having done on my 4x5" Linhof Technika V).

I find the combination of buy-it-now and requirement of payment by wire transfer a little suspect, particularly from a US seller. Americans generally don't like to deal with wire transfers. Also a little strange that the auction assumes a value of $1400 for insurance purposes while the BIN price is $1999. The account has no feedback for over a year. I wouldn't do it.

It seems that David was right. There was something fishy and the auction has been cancelled. At least, we will have no regrets!
