I see now and then a reference to someone named "Oleg" in FSU posts. It seems he repairs, as well as sells, Russian cameras and lenses. Can someone tell me how to contact him? Does he have a website? I'll be interested in buying a cleaned-up and serviced FSU camera and lens after doing a bit more research. Thanks for the help.

At least with Oleg , there's likely to actually be a rabbbit at the bottom , most ex-USSR dealers just have the promise of a Rabbit !
Oleg IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET !
I have a superb Fed 2 and Kiev 4 / 4m and he refixed twin black Leica copies for me , confirmed as Fed 1 gs . I love 'em !

Another BIG thumbs up for Oleg. Fixed my Iskra, reasonable cost, and is a real pleasure to do bidnezz with t' boot.

Keep in mind that some times not even Oleg can breath life into some of these old beautiful cameras. I spent way to much on four different FSU bodies and ended up going to Nikon as I fell in love with that silly focusing wheel. Put a Fed 5 take up spool in an Fed 2 and you should have one of the best street cameras out there for under $150 USD.

Get an Nikon S2. IMHO, you will end up in a much better rabbit hole.

Pitxu, the spelling is "Khalyavin". I've bought a camera and lenses from Oleg, and only the Jupiter 3 -- which I got very cheap indeed -- was off. It's just come back from Kim Coxon.
