Who owns/uses a Bessa T ?

Hi, and Comments to Mr Ho & Ola above...

SILVER or BLACK?
The silver Bessa T looks great!!! And what a bargain for $185-.
I'd rather have a silver body any day, than one that shows brass
at the edges after a year of normal use. That is, however...
MY particular aesthetics ;-)

To OLA with GLASSES:
Consider the following variables...

- Are you right-eye dominant or left-eye dominant?

- Remember, you are going to have a finder of some kind or another, in the
flash shoe at all times. My FSU Rostow 35mm VF protrudes a bit at the back. So, I had 2mm ground out from the front of the shoe... net result is: The shoe of the Rostow is 2mm further forward to the front profile of the body and away from my forehead and eye.

So one or both of the factors above are going to determine your comfort
zone with glasses and the T.

Good luck to All,
mike

POST SCRIPT:

See mtbrian member's Avatar... This clearly shows that comfort with glasses
in using the T is a highly individual thing.

I am indeed, blessed with normal vision... except for near use. When I make any adjustments on/in the camera... I put on my specs 🙄
Cheers, mike

Thanks, Mike. I agree that the silver T is great looking, it's just that my R2M and M7 are black so I thought I might try to be consistent. That said, having a silver T would make it easier to identify when reaching into the camera bag. So, guess I'll diversify! 🙂
