I've had this dilemma with my local pro photo labs, and was wondering if anyone has managed to solve this problem (short of printing them yourself!).
I have a Zeiss Ikon Tenax II -- a super duper camera that doesn't get used enough by me. Problem is that my two local labs can't print the film, as it's 24x24 on 35mm film. The one lab uses a Noritsu machine that automatically detects the frames in the film, and with 35mm film it expects to see a 24x36 frame, so it won't print a square and they can't override it. The other lab can print the 24x24's, BUT they use a standard 35mm mask in their machine, and the orange film base on either side of the frame bleeds through the edges of the image, and leaves a nice brownish tint around the edges of the print. I could have them just develop the film and I could scan every single frame, but if I take this camera on vacation and shoot a dozen rolls of film, I don't really feel up to scanning the better part of 400 images.
Does anyone know of any labs that can print 24x24 images from 35mm film???? Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.
I don't want to sell the camera, but this situation has prevented me from using it.
Thanks!

Briefly, none that I'm aware of do this today.
A guy at a local Ritz shop told me that they just got rid of their half-frame masks, and that's been a dead format since the 1960s.
The last time I had 126 film processed (square photos), I got back regular 4x6 prints.
Your best approach is to scan and print at home -- all 400 shots, unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply. I did manage to give the owner of the photo lab that did print them in the past a call. I explained the situation to him about the 'bleeding' of the film base onto the photos, and if there was some way of masking it off (even with black electrical tape!). He said he'd be up to the challenge and would be willing to test it out. So I'm going to shoot a 12 exp. roll and we'll see if it works, and how much of a pain it is for him to do it. Possible success!
