Damn, I should've seen this! I've sent them an email asking if they'll piggyback the coupon code that I forgot to add, fingers crossed!

Hopefully it's cured my Plaubel Makina GAS!! haha!

Thanks for that !
Just pre-ordered one.

Oh my, I'm very very tempted by this....

Of course I have far too many cameras as it is and I've only just bought a Lubitel 166u (my first 120 film camera!) so I can't really justify this as well, but........

Someone please talk me out of it!

Another pre-order here!

This is their bravest camera yet! Shame they don't trust users with manual shutter/aperture control, but oh well.

When you think they charge more for a reconditioned Lubitel 166+, this is actually a very good value camera (by their standards).

still have some roll film to shoot up!

still have some roll film to shoot up!

Just did the pre-order too!

With the code above, at 40% off ( 30% pre-order 10% code), how can this be a bad deal?

Should be fun to play with, and at worst, it costs me a few dollars to "rent" until I get tired of playing with it!

So all we need to do is to make use of the coupon, and we will get 40% off? Is this correct?

Tempting. You know it's junk anyway ... but it can be fun junk.

"Oh, it's just another $175 ..." in that direction lies peril. =8-0

I *should* stick to what I have already. Damn you all for mentioning this. ;-)

Well, at that price the lens will be little more than a plastics meniscus, and far from being up to the format - but a primitive 6x12 film holder and strut mechanism alone might be worth the money for everybody who has considered hacking a 6x12 frankencamera from two ancient folders.

I was thinking plastic triplet at best.

Since there are two lenses, I could not c how they were changing the distance of the folder extension for 58 vs 90. Depending on type of adjustment, this could help the frankencamera a lot :D.. But the lens attachment is a three prong baynet, which could involve a bit of a hack :(.

I kinda got turned off by the word Lomography...after I read that I wasn't expecting too much from this camera...looking at the Gallery I saw what I was expecting...I don't need a camera that ruins the occasional shot....

On the Phoblographer site, they mention a Russian high quality lens being released in the future.

I don't know why this camera is tempting me. I own a 6x9 and already dislike shooting only 8 exp. I'd probably dislike 6x12. I should just look for a nice 6x6 folder w/rangefinder and buy that instead. Any one have recommendations?

If you like Lomo or not, they do keep coming up with interesting, quirky film based stuff. I love my Spinner 360 to death. And this seems like a lot of fun...
