then you won't be disappointed!

I don't get it.

instead of a classic scale focus roll film folder ?

Gary, mine should arrive tomorrow. I got an email a few days ago saying that it was shipped, along with a link to the UPS tracking system. I can follow where the camera is.
I'm looking forwards to shooting with it over the winter.
Thanks...
I wait till end of the week then and send an email to c where I am in the pre-order line.
Seeing them is asking me get GAS!,,,

I have a Bessa II and a gf670. I still wanted one because
-two lenses
-6x12 to 6x6
-aperture priority
And it just looks like a fun camera.

Russia or China. Probably China.
Are all of the lens components contained in the interchangeable portion? I have one of these on order and am trying to figure out whether hacking would be an option.
Thanks,
Dante
Yep. Same idea... But I am going to play w/ the lenses they sent first. if they are good enough, I may never hack at all..

For the 6x12 format. I have a good old Zeiss 6x6 folder, but would like to dabble in 6x12 without a huge outlay. I'm thinking of only making small prints, so if the lenses are weak, which they appear to be (especially. towards the corners), then it won't matter very much.
If I love the format, then I'll start saving for a Linhof or Horseman.
I probably could have gotten a cheap 4x5 and a rollfilm back. But I like the compact foldind size of this Belair.
Oh yeah, and it just looks like a fun camera! I've never bought anything from Lomography before. My expectations are low, especially about the lenses.

Well, my Belair X 6-12 arrived a few days ago. I got the city slicker (black) plastic version.
Unfortunatly, my initial impression of the build quality was worse than I feared. I'm really not sure I can use such a flimsy camera. I have asked Lomography if I can return it for a refund.

Flimsy? I'm not sure what you planned to do with this camera or what you were expecting. £125 (with discounts) for a 6x12 folder with two lenses - the build is not going to be leica-esque.
I've used this a few times now - no chance to develop the films though. It's ok. Difficult to use handheld at eye level and keep it steady though - the shutter lever need a bit of downwards pressure, which I think will give a lot of camera shake. It's easier to use at waist level using your thumb on the shutter allowing you to hold it steadier. I'm not holding out too much hope on my night time shots...

Snapper uk, I'm glad to hear that the camera is okay for you. I think that using pretty much only Leicas and Hasselblads has messed up my sensibilities!
HOWEVER the plastic film wind knob and small plastic foot on the viewfinders definitely concern me. The placement of the tripod socket to one side, and the lack of possibility to use a cable release were also disappointments. Also, I could not see the 6x6 or 6x9 masks in the viewfinder with or without my glasses.
So, all-in-all I got a "I will have difficulty shooting with this camera" feeling. I really like the concept though.
I look forward to seeing yours and others pictures from the Belair.

Got mine yesterday, with no advance warning. Have put two rolls through it so far, in 6x12 format. I'll try to get them developed soon.
Handling, I don't like the lever for the shutter, as I feel like I'm moving the lens too much. The viewfinder is good for the full view, but the little arrows for marking out the 6x9 and 6x6 frame, they're just not in focus when I'm looking through it, blurry enough to be zero help.
Can't wait to see what this produces. Did one roll of TMax 400, and one of TMax 100.

114mm likely means that Polaroid backs are coming. That's the FL of all folding pack cameras.

I can't see any prices for these - the link on the Lomo website seems to be broken. Any ideas? Shame the widest is 90mm, I'm liking the 58mm angle of view I get with the plastic lens so far.

There are plenty on the Lomo site, including with the new lenses (someone asked - look like they are $200-300 worldwide and under $200 in the U.S.).
